Allcock’s Aerial, 4 ½”; 7950 – T3

An fine early example (1915 – 25) of Allcock’s of Redditch famed Aerial reel.
This is the model 7950 – T3. A 12 spoke spool with calliper check, ventilated spool – front face only, back face unventilated, hollow spindles and brass foot. Solid aluminium back plate with optional check. Xylonite handles may be replacements but they are in fine condition.
The reel spins like a dream (over a minute without polishing and with basic gun oil)

“The most perfect spinning and casting reel ever invented” John Holt-Schooling; courtesy ElwynAttwood.

A great example to use, as many still do, or add to your collection.

Asking - £490 (+ P&P @ cost)
